☆Ticketing Agent Job Description:
Our dynamic Company is seeking a motivated Part Time Ticket Agent for our Pier 11 Ferry Terminal in New York City. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: selling tickets via cash and credit card purchases for ferry routes and directing customers to the appropriate ferry pier
☆Duties And Responsibilities:
1:Administrative duties related to the position.
2:Preparing in-house sales reports.
3:Refunds/Claims/Ticket stock inventory.
4:Quoting and collecting payments for all reservations made in-house.
5:Ticketing individuals and groups.
6:Assisting passengers with internet based reservations.
7:Assisting travel agents and individual passengers in all aspects of ticketing and reservations including group reservations and ticketing.
8:Booking reservations for individual passengers and groups.
☆Position Requirements:
1:Computer skills: Word, Excel, and email.
2:Personal attributes: strong organizational skills, attention to detail, team player, and motivated.
3:Positive attitude a must.
4:Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
5:A reliable professional who follows organization and department procedures, completes tasks in a timely manner.
6:Excellent written and oral communication skills.
7:Experience with Amadeus and or other CRS systems required.
8:Minimum of two years experience in the travel industry. European airline or a travel agency with international reservation and ticketing preferred.
☆Salary: $11.00 - $13.00 Hourly DOE
