☆Reservation Agent Job Description:

☆Duties And Responsibilities:
1:Demonstrate customer service proficiency and reservation system, policy and procedure knowledge by effectively responding to a high volume of basic calls and inquiries.
2:Assist customers by confirming hotel reservations and respond to basic inquiries via telephone, fax and email.
3:Describe features and amenities of hotel and create sense of excitement for customer, resulting in a reservation for the hotel.
4:Selling is the primary function of this position with the goal of closing the sale on three out of ten calls.
5:Reservation Agents are expected to sell Best Western rooms and achieve sales goals.
6:Inbound sales position, booking hotel reservations for Best Western hotels worldwide.
☆Position Requirements:
1:Be a resident of the state of New York
2:Minimum typing speed of 20 to 30 wpm
3:Must be organized and self motivated
4:Solid computer skills including internet knowledge (such as basic searching and queries), IM, email, basic Microsoft Word & Excel, some basic technical terminology
5:Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate remotely with your support groups by phone, email and instant messaging (IM)
☆Salary: $12.00 - $13.00 Hourly DOE
